The Marin Bobcat Trail 4 is our mid-level Bobcat, packing plenty of fun into a bang-for-bike package. Very much a legit MTB, the Bobcat 4 is stacked with quality kit for off-road adventures and includes an SR/Suntour fork, Shimano CUES wide-range 10-speed shifting, and Tektro hydraulic brakes. Like all Bobcats, it’s built around a fast, comfy, and fun Series 2 aluminum frame and is available in 27.5" or 29" wheels, depending on frame size. The all-new Alpine Trail series is our boldest and most capable line of enduro bikes ever, built upon our most advanced, most adjustable frames to date. Series 4 aluminum MultiTrac 2 LT frames feature mixed 29"/27.5" wheels, 170mm front and 160mm rear travel, and the utmost in adjustability. Riders can alter the head tube angle and bottom bracket/chainstay length, as well as run 29" rear wheels if desired. "Bear Box" downtube storage includes a zippered nylon bag to house trail essentials, and a 34.9mm seatpost increases strength and is compatible with the latest dropper posts. While the Alpine Trail 1 is the starting point in the three-model lineup, we didn’t make any concessions regarding the spec. High-performance Fox suspension keeps you in control, while a Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain transmits your power to the wheel. TRP’s Slate Evo 4-piston brakes feature 203mm rotors, keeping all that speed in check in a powerful, fade-free manner.

Stealthy and Protective Cables are fully guided from the rear LOCKR and from there it is easy to reach the headtube if you ever have to replace a cable outer Second Skin Occam is ready for a tough life and the replaceable vinyl protection brings options as well as keeping the paintwork looking like new for longer.

During this time, it was proven both strong and capable by some of the best riders in the sport, including Matt Jones, Mark Matthews, and Vinnie Moonen at some of the most demanding events, including Darkfest and Hardline, along with some of the steepest and most challenging tracks on earth An all-new Series 4 MultiTrac 2 frame features 180mm rear wheel travel and flip chips that allow the rider to select the bottom bracket height and chainstay length, along with the ability to run a 29" rear wheel. We’ve chosen a no-nonsense build kit, starting with RockShox’s storied Boxxer fork paired with a Vivid Coil Ultimate DH shock. The Boxxer is renowned for its balance of performance and durability, and it is quickly and relatively affordably upgradable to a Charger 3 damper for riders who demand the utmost adjustability. Out back, the shock has hydraulic bottom out and adjustable low and high-speed compression damping to dial in the perfect ride. SRAM’s gravity-specific GX DH 7-speed drivetrain has the tight range needed in gravity applications, while powerful Maven Bronze four-piston brakes and 200mm HS2 rotors rein speed. Maxxis DH-rated rubber and SRAM’s venerable Descendant crankset, handlebar, and direct-mount stem round out the stout parts mix, designed for long life in some of the harshest riding conditions.
